3️⃣ Caramelize the Sauce

  1. Reduce heat to medium-low and add sugar. Stir until lightly caramelized.

2. Pour in soy sauce & fish sauce, bringing out deep umami flavors.

4️⃣ Cook the Short Ribs

  1. Add short ribs to the pot and mix well.

2. Once the meat starts browning, add mirin & vinegar to tenderize the beef.

5️⃣ Simmer Until Tender

  1. Pour in water & pear juice, making sure the ribs are fully submerged.

2. Add radish chunks and bring to a boil.

3. Simmer on medium heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

6️⃣ Final Touches

  1. Add red & green chilies for a spicy kick.
  2. Simmer for another 10 minutes, then remove from heat.

💡 Pro Tips

Use pear juice to naturally tenderize the meat.
Don’t overcook the ribs initially—simmering slowly keeps them juicy!
Leftover sauce? Use it to make fried rice for a next-level meal.
